Tigers Trounced by an Innings

Tassie Tigers

Tassie Tigers

The Tigers have been decimated by a rampaging Queensland side in their Sheffield Shield clash. Ben Cutting claimed six wickets in the Tigers second innings to lead the Bulls to an innings & seven runs victory.
The last day started with the Tigers at 6 for 209 & needing at least 17 runs to force the Bulls to bat again but could only manage a further ten runs. The fourth day demolition only lasted 45 minutes and was delivered by Cutting who finished the game with an eight wicket haul.

Highlight:
The Tigers didn’t have many highlights for the match, but Alex Doolan had 59 in the second innings & if it wasn’t for Brett Geeves the loss could of been a lot worse.   Geeves finished with a five wicket haul in the only dig our bowlers had at the Bulls and he also top scored in the first innings with 40.

Looking forward to a better performance in a fortnight when we take on New South Wales in Sydney.
