Anthony Mundine has announced he will offer Daniel Geale a rematch for the IBO middleweight title which he won by a contentious split points decision in May. Inflicting Geale’s first professional loss.
The Geale camp then lodged an appeal citing various concerns with the fight, including the intimidation of a judge and time wasting. The IBO then order a rematch.
Mundine speaking at an Xbox game launch in Sydney along side Sugar Ray Leonard said;
He’s gonna get his whippin’, that’s for sure, sucker talkin’ about fighting me, he always runnin.
It’s money issues with him, Because I’m the cash cow, they want to get more than what they would get to the highest bidder out there.
Mundine also noted that Geal was Tasmanian and that the fight could be in Geale’s home state.
